What are the “keys” to an effective professional development program? What do those components look like in practice? Find out what the new LINCS Professional Development Center learned from researching and interviewing leaders in the field. Join this session to discuss and reflect on effective professional development programming under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act in support of high-quality adult education programs. The training presents findings from the literature review, interviews with selected state leaders, and the synthesis of narrative National Reporting System reports. The session concludes by sharing information about the LINCS Professional Development Center’s technical assistance activities to help states establish or operate high-quality professional development programs.
