Abstract

The collection was produced by KET as part of Kentucky Adult Education’s (KYAE) effort to introduce adult literacy, basic education instructors to the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS).

Videotaped segments taken in actual classroom settings provide examples of strategies for teaching to the CCRS in the adult education classroom. In particular, examples are shown that follow Effective Teaching and Learning Practices as documented in the Standards in Action Observation Tool.
